Basic specs.

The Coronet 38 is a motorboat designed by the Norwegian maritime architect Hans Bruun Bertelsen in the early eighties. The Coronet 38 is built by the Danish yard Coronet Boats af 1983 A/S.

Hull

Both the hull and the deck is made of fibreglass. Generally, a hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season.

Interior

The interior is like many other boats made of mahogany. Mahogany belongs to the hardwood species, known for being water-repellent and resistant to decay. It has an attractive wood grain and holds wood polish and varnish well.
The boat is equipped with 6 berths, a galley, 380.0 liter fresh water capacity and toilet facility.

Keel

The boat can enter even shallow marinas as the draft is just about 0.75 - 0.85 meter (2.46 - 2.76 ft) dependent on the load. See immersion rate below.

Engine

Coronet 38 may be equipped with an inboard Volvo Penta TAMB 60 B gasoline engine at 470 hp (350 kW). Max speed is 23.0 knots.

The fuel tank, which is made of steel, has a capacity of 200.0 liters (52 US gallons, 43 imperial gallons).
