The Marino 700 is a small motorboat designed by the maritime architect Tor-Bjørn Fagerstrøm in the early eighties. The Marino 700 is built by the Finnish yard Marino OY.

Hull

Both the hull and the deck is made of fibreglass. Generally, a hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season. And outside the sailing season, just bottom cleaning and perhaps anti-fouling painting once a year - a few hours of work, that's all.


Interior

The interior is like most other boats made of teak. Teak has the advantage of being naturally very oily and therefore water-repellent, which is suitable on boats.
The boat is equipped with 4 berths and a galley.


Keel

The boat can enter even shallow marinas as the draft is just about 0.60 - 0.70 meter (1.97 - 2.27 ft) dependent on the load. See immersion rate below.


Engine

The Marino 700 has been equipped with different engine alternatives.

Alternative 1:

Marino 700 may be equipped with an inboard Yanmar diesel engine at 8 hp (5 kW). Max speed is 6.0 knots.

Alternative 2:

The boat may be equipped with an outboard engine at 250 hp (186 kW).

The fuel tank, which is made of steel, has a capacity of 40.0 liters (10 US gallons, 8 imperial gallons).
