VIDEOS: -> see TikTok and Instagram under the username sy.pibi It is with a heavy heart that we are offering our Hunter Sonata 7 built in 1978 for sale. A well-known regatta boat in Great Britain with a very fast yardstick of 109 for her class, but also very suitable for weekend trips or young people, as everything is quite simple in terms of sailing and she has a manageable size (23 feet long x 2.55 metres wide x 1.40 metres draught). This year we have travelled a good 800 nautical miles with it, full of joy and sometimes with a rush of speed. Our summer holiday to Samsö and back through the Danish South Sea was a fantastic trip. The Pibi came sixth out of 15 participating boats in the internal club regatta and is now known in the club as a little racing goat. Thanks to her light weight of just 1.4 tonnes, even little wind is enough to get her up to speed. In strong winds with a correspondingly reduced sail area, she is stable in the water and often reaches top speeds of 6.5 knots. We always felt safe. Thanks to her "small" size, we have always been able to find a place in the harbour, even during the holiday season. Nevertheless, we were able to live on it with two or even three adults. Refit 2023: - Lower hull completely rebuilt by the boat builder - Hull repainted and thus sealed - Rudder blade (made of wood) refurbished and painted - Railing wire replaced with regatta rigging - Wooden elements refurbished and varnished - New mahogany tiller - New upholstery in the saloon - Numerous interior elements renovated or replaced and repainted - Wall panelling replaced with new carpet - New lighting and some new electrical connections - Various seals and unnecessary old screw holes closed - New lifting device made of high-quality VA steel to also be able to work on the support surfaces on the lower deck Also included: - Mainsail plus old spare sail - 2 x genoa (one of which can be reefed) - 2 x jib - 1 spinakker - 1 furling jib - 1 storm sail - Suzuki 6 hp 2-stroke outboard engine (will be serviced again before delivery) - fender - Anchor incl. chain - Shore power connection 230Volt - Raymarine ST 1000 autopilot (we have affectionately named it Ray) - Outrigger Persening - Origo 3000 2-burner petrol cooker - Swimming ladder - Battery with charger - CD player and 3 built-in Magnat speakers (one outside) - Echo sounder (fish finder) - Radio with emergency call button (currently not installed) - Table for cockpit and saloon - Compass - Navigation lights LED - Radar reflector and anchor ball - Various ropes - New mobile phone holder with charging function (we navigated with it) - Box sign (occupied / free until) with the boat´s logo - Domain www.sy-pibi.de (for your own blog or e-mail traffic) - and much more. In other words: almost everything you need for sailing. The Pibi is currently stored in a shed near 24321 Lütjenburg (northern Germany), protected from wind and weather, on a trailer specially made for this boat with road approval and MOT until October 2024, making it ideal for owners who have a winter berth far away from the harbour. We are happy to optionally prepare the bottom with antifouling so that the boat is immediately ready to sail for the coming season. We would like 7,000 euros for the Pibi and 1,200 euros for the trailer. (Price also in consultation with club mates) Optional: 1. transport of the boat to the slipway by arrangement 2. electric motor Epropulsion Sprit 1.0 Evo L with remote control and battery plus (invoice and warranty 1 year since 11.07.23) AND additionally the same spare battery (running time at 3 kn approx. 4 hours per battery). Under full throttle approx. 5 kn boat speed. Together for a surcharge of 1,800 euros Osmosis is not known. This is a private sale without guarantee and / or return.
