Hull

The hull is made of fibreglass. A hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season.

The hull shape is deep V. Generally, a deep V hull gives a more comfortable cruise because it helps the boat cut through waves while minimizing impacts, help the boat bank into turns, and throw less spray. However, a deep V hull reduces stability and requires more power.

Interior

The boat is equipped with 2 berths, 240 liters (63 US gallons, 52 imperial gallons) fresh water capacity and 115 liters (30 US gallons, 25 imperial gallons) waste water capacity.

Immersion rate

The immersion rate is defined as the weight required to sink the boat a certain level. The immersion rate for Windy SR52 is about 466 kg/cm, alternatively 2614 lbs/inch.
Meaning: if you load 466 kg cargo on the boat then it will sink 1 cm. Alternatively, if you load 2614 lbs cargo on the boat it will sink 1 inch.

Based on this, your favourite maritime shop can tell you the quantity you need.
