The hull is made of fibreglass. A hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season.
The hull shape is deep V. Generally, a deep V hull gives a more comfortable cruise because it helps the boat cut through waves while minimizing impacts, help the boat bank into turns, and throw less spray. However, a deep V hull reduces stability and requires more power.
The boat is equipped with 2 cabins, 4-6 berths, a galley, 250 liters (66 US gallons, 54 imperial gallons) fresh water capacity and toilet facility.

The NC 11 has been equipped with different engine alternatives.
Alternative 1:
The boat may be equipped with dual inboard Volvo Penta D3 220 DP diesel engines at 440 hp (327 kW).
The transmission is a Z-drive aka sterndrive.
Alternative 2:
NC 11 may be equipped with dual inboard Volvo Penta D3 200 DP diesel engines at 400 hp (298 kW). Cruise speed is 22.0 knots. Max speed is 29.0 knots.
The transmission is a Z-drive aka sterndrive.
This section covers widely used rules of thumb to describe the sailing characteristics. Please note that even though the calculations are correct, the interpretation of the results might not be valid for extreme boats.
NC 11 holds two CE certifications:
If less than 10 in on board the boat is by European Union certified as Class B. OFFSHORE:The immersion rate is defined as the weight required to sink the boat a certain level.
The immersion rate for NC 11 is about 279 kg/cm, alternatively 1564 lbs/inch.
Meaning: if you load 279 kg cargo on the boat then it will sink 1 cm.
Alternatively, if you load 1564 lbs cargo on the boat it will sink 1 inch.

In Denmark, you are required to have achieved a 'powerboat driving license' in order to sail a powerboat.
In this context a boat is considered a powerboat if:
When buying anti-fouling bottom paint, it's nice to know how much to buy.
The surface of the wet bottom is about 38m2 (409 ft2).
Based on this, your favourite maritime shop can tell you the quantity you need.
Note: If you use a paint roller you will need more paint than if you use a paintbrush.
